The JPJO traditionally performs in the styles of the Buddy Rich and the Maynard Fergusson Orchestras.

We also play standards (original or modern arrangements) such as the 1931 song 'All Of Me' or the Sammy Nestico arrangement of the 1925 'Sweet Georgia Brown'; Latin music arrangements such as the 1973 arrangement of Chick Corea's 'Spain' or Sonny Rollins 'St Thomas'; or 'classical' pieces such as Leonard Bernstein's 'West Side Story' as played by the Buddy Rich Big Band.
