David Naegele [

David Naegele actively performs for a
variety of music groups and organizations in and out
of Wisconsin. Currently he is Co-Principal Trumpet
of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra. As of 2007, he
is also a regular performer with the Dubuque
Symphony Orchestra, the LaCrosse Symphony Orchestra,
the Beloit-Janesville Symphony Orchestra and the
Jeff Peronto Jazz Orchestra of Madison. In the
spring of 2007 he was a featured soloist with the
Homestead High School Wind Ensemble. In 2005 &
2006, he performed with the National Festival
Orchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall with
conductors Lukas Foss and Benjamin Zander. Prior
engagements included the Domaine-Forget
International Festival of Brass 2004 in Quebec,
Canada, and the Aspen Music Festival 2003. He has
studied with Barbara Butler of Northwestern
University, the late Vincent Chicowicz, formerly of
the Chicago Symphony, Raymond Mase of the Julliard
School, Kevin Hartman of UW-Milwaukee and Dennis
Najoom of the Milwaukee Symphony. David has
performed in master classes given by trumpet
virtuosi Hakan Hardenberger, Steven Burns and Adolph
Herseth. He also appeared with the American Brass
Quintet in Aspen and most recently in 2006 with the
Dallas Brass. David is a 2006 graduate of
UW-Milwaukee where he double majored with Bachelor
of Fine Arts degrees in Music Education and Wind
Performance. |
